Try This To Improve Your Marriage

Make your relationship more important than being right. When couples fight "for" their relationship they increase closeness, security, and love. In contrast, couples that fight "against" each other increase distance, insecurity, and negativity. Next time you are fighting with your partner ask yourself, "Am I trying to make the relationship better or am I trying to prove that I am right?" Enduring closeness is found when couples seek love more than power.
